Het verhaal van de ULURU scooter

by evert

1235745513nscooter_quellijnULURU blijft in beweging.

How Twitter spreads the news on a plane crash

by dirk

nipp-1
Today I was amazed by how the story about the plane crash at Schiphol evolved on the Internet. One of our colleagues was first to tell us about it, some 10 minutes after it happened. She was called by her boyfriend who works for the local TV here. The first thing I thought when I heard it was to check Twitter.

In our second hometown Barcelona we visited the GSMA Mobile World Congress 2009

During these 4 days the event showed us everything to do with mobile business. We shaked so many hands, met so much new people, some on behalf of our partner Gemalto, some later in town. ULURU was well represented by Maarten, Philippe and Mick. Next year our own booth?

Interactive dinner at Inamo, London

by sylvia

inamo_0810_0101Last Friday I had a high tech dinner experience at the Inamo restaurant in Soho, London. One of the restaurant’s unique features is the combination of technology with having dinner. Via projectors in the ceiling your tabletop is projected with their Asian fusion menu. You can use your personal touch panel to interact with the (kitchen) staff and order food and beverages yourself. Each menu item is displayed on the plate in front of you. With a little help of the staff it was actually quite easy to navigate: similar to navigation on your computer.

MoMo #9: Mobile Gaming

by dirk

iPhone dominationI haven’t missed out on a single MoMo Amsterdam up to now. Already 9! The crowd and atmosphere were as usual very vibrant. The Rode Hoed on the Keizersgracht full up to the balcony, with young ‘mobilistas’ in their late 20s and early 30s, blogging on their MacBooks or twittering on their iPhone, amazing how Apple has now completely taken over the creative crowd. Quite a few G1 phones were also spotted, so this is not your average population in terms of market penetration. :-)

World’s first Kinetic, electronic new media Art Fair

by ninna

OPENS IN LONDON; 27 February – 2 March 2009

– New fair showcases kinetic, robotic and time-based art –

- Hosted in London’s new multi-disciplinary art space P3 -

Robotic, sound and solar sculptures, mechanical writing machines, laser and subliminal installations are just some of the incredible exhibits at Kinetica Art Fair, the world’s first art fair dedicated to kinetic, robotic, sound, light and time-based art. And there will the little lost icelandic girl be with a hexagon dress (and hopefully a dancing dress and maybe another one if time is kind to me).

I will be having lots of lights, electronic devices, paper and glue and with these elements together I hope it will make a whole dress that will stay put and not electrocute or burn the poor girls that need to wear them for the opening.

Very exiting and hope you will bounce over to london for a drink…
